Andrew Walker / Co-founder,
Director
Andrew Walker has been working as a web developer & designer
since 1995. After co-founding creative agency Thin Martian in 1998,
Andrew has spent the last twelve years helping brands connect to
social networks and online communities. In 2008 he co-founded
Tweetminster, a data mining & analysis company making politics
& politicians more accessible via Twitter, being the first
person to interview political leaders like Nick Clegg and Gordon
Brown with live Twitter Q&A sessions. Andrew is passionate
about the power of social media to give brands insight into
consumer trends, brand advocacy and develop smarter business
intelligence tools - helping brands use mobile technology and data
to get better results. Andrew is also the strategy hub leader for
the IAB social media council.
Gilbert Hill / Co-Founder, Director
Since 2003 Gilbert has been a Director of Governor Technology,
responsible for setting sales and business strategy. Prior to that,
he spent 7 years at Citigroup where he managed the roll-out of
their first pan-European funds websites. He uses this experience
and connections to promote the Cookie Collective as Co-Founder and
Director of the consultancy.
Richard Beaumont / Business Development
Manager
Richard is our resident expert on the cookie law and its
practical application on all types of different websites. His main
aim at The Cookie Collective is to help website owners understand
how to best apply the law to their own needs and situation. Richard
has been involved in the technology world in one way or another for
19 years, starting out with computer books publisher Addison-Wesley
(part of the Pearson group), moving into online education with
LearnDirect and several corporate elearning providers before to a
move to Governor Technology in 2007 as Account Manager.
Charlotte Haeger / Communications
Officer
Charlotte joined Governor Technology in 2011 and got involved
with the Cookie Collective straight away. Charlotte is a Master's
graduate in Communication Management with interests in strategic
communication. Charlotte's skills lay in communication, marketing
and public relations and she is responsible for all communication
for the Cookie Collective.
